Foundwise

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Foundrwise LLC (“Foundwise,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Foundwise website and application (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and password (or, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google shares with us).
  • Content you submit — the ideas, descriptions, answers, messages, and other text you enter into the Service (“Your Content”), including your conversations with the AI co-founder and the canvases you create.
  • Communications — information you provide when you contact us for support or feedback.

Information collected automatically:

  • Usage data — how you interact with the Service, such as features used, pages viewed, actions taken, progress through the framework, timestamps, and session activity.
  • Device and log data — IP address, browser type, device information, and similar technical data.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand and improve usage (see “Cookies”).

Information from third parties:

  • Payment information — when you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects and processes your payment details. We do not store full card numbers; we receive limited information such as subscription status and the last four digits of your card.
  • Authentication — if you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information to create and secure your account.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including generating AI Outputs from Your Content;
  • create and secure your account and authenticate you;
  • process subscriptions and payments and manage trials and promotional codes;
  • review, analyze, and understand how the Service is used in order to improve our products, features, models, and user experience, and for other legitimate business purposes;
  • maintain the security and integrity of the Service and prevent fraud or abuse;
  • communicate with you about your account, updates, and support; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We treat the substance of Your Content as confidential and do not publicly disclose your specific ideas without your consent, except as described in this Policy.

3. AI Processing of Your Content

The Service is powered by artificial intelligence. To generate responses, research, and other AI Outputs, Your Content is processed by our systems and sent to third-party AI providers that power the Service. Some features may also use web search to retrieve publicly available information. These providers process Your Content to return results to you and are subject to their own terms and privacy commitments. We do not sell Your Content.

4. Aggregated and De-Identified Data

We may create aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you or reveal your specific idea, and we may use and retain that information for any business purpose, including analytics and improving the Service.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only as described here:

  • Service providers (subprocessors). We use trusted third parties to run the Service, including, for example: payment processing (Stripe), hosting, database, and authentication infrastructure (such as Supabase), sign-in (Google), and AI model providers that power the assistant. These providers process information on our behalf to provide their services.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Foundwise, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
  • With your consent. We may share information for other purposes with your consent.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterward as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account or Your Content, we will delete or de-identify it within a reasonable period, except for residual copies kept in routine backups or as required by law, and except for aggregated or de-identified data.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including access controls that restrict who can view stored content. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, or to withdraw consent. You can:

  • access and update your account information in the Service;
  • delete Your Content or your account; and
  • contact us at info@fndws.com to exercise applicable rights.

We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law.

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand and improve how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly without them.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to, and not intended for, individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International Users

We operate in the United States, and information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data-protection laws than your own.

12. Third-Party Links

The Service may link to or recommend third-party websites and tools. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by posting the updated Policy with a new date or by email). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
